British Transport Police (BTP) officers want to speak to this man about the theft of a rucksack on a train at Grantham railway station.
The rucksack, containing a laptop, iPhone and a wallet containing cash and cards, belonged to a man who boarded the 7.33pm service from London Kings Cross to Leeds on Thursday, May 4 and sat in Coach E before placing his rucksack in the overhead luggage rack.
When he checked on his bag at Doncaster he realised it had disappeared.
After viewing CCTV from the train, a man, who was travelling with a friend, took the bag, before both men left the train at Grantham.
They then both boarded the 20.59pm service to Nottingham.
The following a day an attempt was made to use one of the victim’s cards in Nottingham.
A BTP spokesman said: “We’d like to speak to the man in the image, as we believe he could help with our enquiries into this theft.
“If you know him or have any information, please call us on 0800 40 50 40 or text 61016, quoting reference 341 of May 26.”
