BAR stools were sent flying when a man lost his temper in the Blue Bull pub in Grantham.
Paul Priest, formerly of Grantham but now living in Northampton, got into an argument with his partner while on a night out in the Blue Bull in Westgate and took his anger out on the furniture.
Jill Derby, prosecuting, said: “He picked three bar stools up and threw them against the walls in the premises.”
Priest, 45, defended himself and said he had no recollection of what happened that night.
He said: “I’m ashamed of my actions that night.
“I did not actually remember it until the police interviewed me a few weeks ago and showed me the CCTV.
“You have probably heard this a million times before but I was drunk and I don’t remember anything.”
Priest was fined £70 and ordered to pay costs of £85 and a £15 surcharge. The pub will not be compensated as it did not support the prosecution. District Judge Stobart said: “I wish you good luck in keeping off the alcohol and therefore out of trouble.”
