Men assault delivery man with plank in Thames Road, Grantham, and steal pizzas

A pizza delivery worker has been assaulted by two men in Grantham.

The victim was making a delivery to Thames Road when he was assaulted by the men using a wooden plank. The assault took place just after 11pm on Friday, August 21.

The men stole pizzas from the victim before making off from the scene by running down a nearby alleyway. The offenders are described as white males aged 17 to 19-years-old, wearing black jackets.

Police would like to speak to anyone who saw anything suspicious on Thames Road or the incident itself. Anyone with information is asked to call Lincolnshire Police on the non-emergency number 101. Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
