Passer-by escapes injury as shopping trolley is pushed from the top of multi-storey car park in Grantham

A boy and a teenager have been arrested on suspicion of pushing a shopping trolley from the top of a multi-storey car park in Grantham.

The trolley narrowly missed a passer-by, who was lucky to escape injury.

A 12-year-old boy and 17-year-old teenager were arrested in connection with the incident at the Wharf Road car park on Sunday afternoon and bailed pending further enquiries.

Witnesses are asked to call Sgt Dan Gilmore on the non-emergency 101 number.
