POLICE have found the body of a Polish man who had been missing in Grantham since last Friday.

The body of Kacper Jaworski was found in the former ATS building in East Street, Grantham, yesterday afternoon (Sunday).

Mr Jaworski who lived in Norton Street, Grantham, was last seen when he left a friend’s house in George Street between 10pm and 11 pm on Friday, November 25.

He had been due to fly to Gdansk, Poland the following day, but did not make it to Robin Hood Airport, Doncaster, to catch his flight.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said: “At this stage it is thought Mr Jaworski fell through the roof. It is not known why he was there.

“Investigations are ongoing and a post mortem examination to establish the exact cause of death will take place later today.

“Initial enquiries have been carried out and at this stage police are not treating the death as suspicious.”
