Rural areas around Grantham are targeted by crooks

Police are appealing for information on a number of thefts in villages near Grantham.

Anyone with information on any of the below incidents is asked to call Lincolnshire Police on the non-emergency 101 number, quoting the incident number stated.

* July 17 - A ride-on lawnmower and child’ blast bike were stolen from a garden on Grantham Road, Hough-on-the-Hill. Incident number 255 of 20/07/15.

* July 16 - A van was broken into, registration MS02HFW, on The Drift at Barrowby. The locks from the van doors were taken. Incident number 58 of 16/07/15.

* July 16 - Locks were forced open on a van on Debdale Road, Barrowby, and a number of tools stolen. Incident number 75 of 16/07/15.

* July 16 - A report of attempted theft from a van, registration X498 POF, on The Drift. The locks on the van had been popped out and a search was made of the inside but nothing was taken Incident number 144 of 16/07/15.

* Between July 16-19 - An outbuilding was broken into on Church Lane, Westborough, and an amplifier may have been taken. Incident number 273 of 19/07/15.

* July 18 - A report of a white van in the area of Westborough, had been seen near a property on Long Lane where the shed had been broken into and the conservatory door was open. Nothing had been taken. Incident number 169 of 18/07/15.

* Between July 18-20 - Sometime over the weekend, an outbuilding on Lincoln Road, Fulbeck, was entered and a number of tools and golf clubs were stolen. Incident number 112 of 20/07/15.

* Between July 16-17 - Sometime overnight, a shed was broken into on The Knoll, Great Gonerby, and a yellow/black McCulloch Pro Mac 850 Super chainsaw was stolen. Incident number 125 of 16/07/15.
