A police helicopter using heat seeking equipment was deployed during the night and search teams with rescue dogs are continuing to search the area today.

Patricia Lawrence, 65, went missing yesterday morning from her home in Cherry Lane, Stubton, wearing pyjamas and no shoes. Patricia is reported as having medical issues and police are urgently trying to locate her as she is vulnerable and may need urgent medical attention.

Police are asking people in the area to search outbuildings and garages to check if Patricia has taken refuge there.

A photo has now been released of Patricia, who is of slim build and has shoulder-length blonde hair.
