Teenage girl is fined for using threatening behaviour in town

NO apology was offered by a teenager who admitted using threatening behaviour.

Asked whether she had anything to say to magistrates in court on Wednesday, Tasmin Baines, 18, replied: “No.”

The court heard how she was in the midst of a group of 20 males pushing and shoving each other in the Market Place, Grantham, on September 18.

She was seen by police officers to be “antagonising” the men and was aggressive towards the officers, swearing at them.

She was warned to calm down but carried on regardless.

Baines, of Harlaxton Road, Grantham, was fined £35 and told to pay £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
