THREATS to kill were made towards a woman in messages left on the social networking site Facebook.
Carl Draycott, of Avenue Road, Grantham, wrote a message to the woman via the internet which said: “I will find you and when I do I will kill you. If I can’t see my son then you won’t either.”
Draycott was jailed for six weeks after he admitted sending the abusive electronic message and a further charge of criminal damage after visiting the same victim’s home and kicking her front door.
Kate McMillan, defending Draycott, said her client regretted sending the message.
She said: “The second he sent it he regretted it.”
Draycott was on bail after sending the electronic message when he visited the victim’s house this week and began banging on her front door.
Kate McMillan said: “He lost his temper and kicked the front door. He has admitted that.”
