TWO white wine spritzers put a woman over the drink drive limit on July 21 as she went to fetch some food from her local garage.
Amanda Bellamy, 37, of New Beacon Road, Grantham, was driving on the road where she lives at 2.20am when she was stopped by police.
She admitted being over the legal limit.
Bellamy, who is carer for her father, had left his house, also in New Beacon Road, after having two drinks with her mother. Rory Macmillan, defending, said: “She had nothing to eat all day.
“She would not have driven if she thought she was over the limit. She had been in the car for about 30 seconds.”
Bellamy was fined £185 and made to pay £15 victim surcharge and £50 towards cost. She was disqualified for 12 months.
