Woman suspected of stabbing man in Grantham is charged

Police have today (Friday) charged Dina-Marie Morgan, 41, of Gonerby Hill Foot, with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm.

She was due to appear at Lincoln Magistrates’ Court today.

A 42-year-old man remains at Queen’s Medical Centre where he continues to receive treatment.

Police were called to River View Maltings, Grantham, at around 11.30am yesterday (New Year’s Day).

An air ambulance landed at Dysart Park and the man was airlifted to the Queen’s Medical Centre at Nottingham for treatment to a stab wound.

The scene was cordoned off for forensic examination.
