Grantham Library is to boost its book collection thanks to a local community group.

Grantham Volunteer Dementia Support Group will be donating 12 books to Grantham Library this Thursday, to help educate people on the condition.

Alongside the presentation, the group will also be holding a drop in session running from 2.30pm to 4.30pm, answering any questions or queries the public may have.

Janet Davies, library team leader, said: “At the library we are always looking to boost our collection of books, supplying our visitors with any information that they need.

“Thanks to the members of the Grantham Volunteer Dementia Support Group, the library is now equipped to help signpost and provide information to those suffering from dementia and their carers.”
