A volunteering recruitment event is being held by Lincolnshire Police at Grantham station.

If you are interested in making a valuable contribution to the community by volunteering with the local force, you can find out more at the event on February 4 from 7pm at Grantham Police Station.

The event will include presentations from representatives of the different areas within volunteering - the Special Constabulary, Volunteer Police Community Support Officers, and Police Support Volunteers.

A spokesperson from Lincolnshire police said: “This is a great opportunity to find out more about volunteering with us, whether it be by putting on a uniform and patrolling your communities or providing behind the scenes support to staff and officers.

“After the presentations there will be refreshments, where officers, staff and volunteers who share your interests in the benefits provided to the force will be available in an informal setting to answer any queries you may have. All are welcome to come along.”
