Distraction burglars steal rings in Great Gonerby

Descriptions of two males involved in a Great Gonerby distraction burglary this afternoon, including one wearing a top with the word ‘police’ on it, have been released.

At 2pm today two males knocked on a window at a property on Grantham Road in Great Gonerby, asking for directions.

The victim then discovered the males inside his property, and notices that two rings have been taken.

The first male was wearing a grey pullover and a sweatshirt which had police written on it, and is believed to have been aged between 19 and 20.

The second male is over 6’ft tall, about 24-years-old, and wearing a black top, gloves, and was described as well-built.

Lincolnshire Police are warning residents to be vigilant and to report anything suspicious or any sightings of these men by calling 101 and referring to incident number 167 of today.
