District council company will pay new assistant chief executive £65,000

InvestSK, the economic regeneration company owned by South Kesteven District council, is seeking an assistant chief executive, paying £65,000.

The InvestSK website says: "The role of an assistant chief executive is a new position, closely supporting the CEO and leading on one of the company's strategic themes: Regeneration & Place-making; Culture; Economic Development & Skills. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate extensive experience at senior level in one of these disciplines."

The vacancy comes as the development company is busily working on a range of initiatives as part of the economic ambitions of the Conservative-led South Kesteven District Council.

Current projects underway included developing a cultural strategy and InvestSK has just launched grant schemes to boost support to arts and towns centres in the district.

The website advertisement says the salary is £65,000 and the deadline for applications is February 10.
