A new dog walker has set up business in the Grantham area, offering day care and walking services.

Mother-of-one Jodi-Lee Bridges, 30, launched Yappy Days after being made redundant from her previous job.

Finding it difficult to find another job that suited her skill set, she decided on a new career path doing something she knew she would love.

Yappy Days offers one-to-one day care and individual walking for dogs and is ideal for busy professionals who need help and elderly or vulnerable people who are unable to give their pet the exercise they need.

Jodi-Lee, who has a seven-year-old daughter, Mia, said: “Catering to each dog as an individual and being able to offer a service tailored to them is my priority. Love, fuss and a good run around to break up their day makes for a happy pup!

“Services are catered for in hourly slots; ensuring that your dog has the attention they so deserve.”

Jodi-Lee was born in Cardiff but travelled extensively with her family. They settled in Grantham so she was brought up in the town in her teens.

She later moved to the village of Boothby Pagnell and “fell in love with the countryside”.

“I fell in love with exploring what nature has to offer in the best way – with our family dog Fern, a gentle giant ball of fluff,” she said.

“We sadly lost Fern at the grand old age of 14. I have since had many furry additions to the family, Roux being the latest pup to join the clan.

“Being a dog owner myself I acknowledge the importance of my pooch having the most dedicated, best care there is. I recognise that trust is pertinent to any relationship; between dog and person and person to person.”

Jodi-Lee is fully insured and DRB checked.

She offers a free half-hour consultation to any new potential customers.
