Drainage improvements next week on Brook Street in Grantham

Drainage improvement works are set to begin on Monday, February 15, on Brook Street (A607) to prevent surface water flooding.

The works involve adding a drainage system to a kerb with additional connections to the surface water sewer. They will reduce incidents of surface water flooding which have previously caused damage to Kings School on Brook Street.

As part of the work the footpath surface will also be replaced.

Two way traffic signals will be in place and the scheme is expected to be completed by February 19, subject to weather conditions. It is scheduled to take place over half term to minimise disruption to residents.
