Driver cut out of car after A1 accident near Colsterworth

Fire crews from Grantham and Corby Glen used cutting equipment to remove the roof of a car and reach the driver following an accident on the A1.

The accident happened on the southbound carriageway between Colsterworth and Stoke Rochford at about 8am. One lane was closed as police and fire services attended the incident. Paramedics were on the scene to help the casualty.

The lane was closed for about two hours.
