The headmaster of The King’s School is ‘immensely proud’ of students and their A level achievements.
Twenty-two students attained at least three ‘A’ grades or better.
Headmaster Frank Hedley said: “I am immensely proud of all of the boys and their achievements. I wish them every success in the next phase of their career.
“Once again, particular thanks go to teachers and parents for the superb support they have given the boys throughout their A level studies.”
This year, the top achieving students are:
*Tim Mallinson – 4 A*s and 1 A grade
Tim attained A*s in Mathematics, Further Mathematics, French and English with grade A in General Studies. He now goes up to Oxford to study PPE.
*Joshua Hubbard – 3A*s and 2 A grades
Josh attained A*s in Mathematics, English and General Studies with A grades in Further Mathematics and Economics. From September he will study Philosophy and Economics at London School of Economics.
*Connor Slack – 3A*s, 1A and 1 B grade
Connor attained A*s in Mathematics, Further Mathematics and Physics with grade A in Chemistry and grade B in General Studies. From September he will study Mechanical Engineering with a year in North America at Sheffield University.
*Oliver Williams – 3 A*s, 1 A and 1 C grade
Oliver attained A*s in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry, with a grade A in Further Mathematics and grade C in General Studies. From September he will study Mechanical Engineering at Sheffield University.
