Graphic design students at Grantham College have redeveloped the branding of an expanding B&B in Barrowby.
Between them they came up with several logo designs for Thorns Farm Leisure, and the one created by Bradley Thomas was chosen.
The same group of students then worked on a brochure, following a brief given by the B&B. Their ideas were developed and Callum Arthur’s design was chosen.
The project came about when the B&B, which opened in 2009, expanded for a second time – it has become so successful with clients working in Grantham on weekdays that three large units are being built.
Grethe Andersen, from Thorns Farm, said: “We felt with the expansion of a third barn it was time to update our identity. I therefore made contact with Dave Thomas from Grantham College who is head of the digital design and graphics department. The thought of giving the students a “real life” project appealed to me and it has been a lovely process working with them.
“Initially I went in to give them a briefing which was followed by a site visit from the students.
“I would like to thank Dave Thomas and the students for working with Thorns Farm Leisure and I wish all the students the best with their future careers in design.”
