CHILDREN at Acorn Nursery, in the grounds of Grantham Hospital, are celebrating after receiving a good report from inspection service Ofsted.
Inspectors said children at the nursery enjoy “a wide variety of activities, set within a warm, lively and caring environment”.
Managers act as good role models and the team works together well.
Inspectors noted that improvements recommended at the last inspection had been met.
The inspection report highlighted areas that the nursery can work on to improve provision further.
l Ensuring first aiders attended group outings.
l Ensuring registers are consistently maintained.
l Ensuring continuity for children who attend more than one setting.
l Improve the nursery’s self-evaluation to further improve its service.
Owner Marie Sparks said: “We’re very proud to have received a good outcome following the inspection.
This is a testament to the hard work and commitment of the caring and dedicated team of staff.”
