e-Books are added to county’s library services

Have your say

LIBRARIES in Lincolnshire have made a move towards the digital age with the offering of more than 1,000 e-Books.

Lincolnshire County Council has added the digital books to complement existing library services. Both bestsellers and classics are available online, with new titles being added every month.

The e-Books cans be downloaded to a computer or reader free of charge, with loans lasting 21 days. Although e-Books can only be borrowed by one person at a time, reservations can be made for when titles become available.

The arrival of e-Books follows the recent addition of e-Audio books, of which there are more than 600 available.

Borrowers can access both services with their library card and PIN via the Viewpoint Web catalogue at http://virtuallibrary.lincolnshire.gov.uk
