King’s School head to leave after just two years in charge

KING’S School headteacher Charles Dormer has announced he is to leave the school to take up a post at a school in Hertfordshire.

Mr Dormer, 44, who became the King’s School headmaster in September of last year, will take over as the headmaster at the Jewish school, Immanuel College in Hertfordshire in September, 2012.

The College has announced Mr Dormer’s appointment on its website. The college quotes Mr Dormer as saying: “I am delighted to have been selected to take over as Head Master of Immanuel College.”

Mr Dormer was unavailable for comment when contacted by the Journal yesterday.
