TOP lips are nice and warm at West Grantham Academy St Hugh’s as male members of staff join in the Movember craze.

The staff are joining men across the world in growing moustaches in aid of prostate and other men’s charities.

Rob Charlton, from the school, said: “We chose to take part in Movember to help raise awareness in young adults about the importance of male health and to break down the stigma of males not talking about their problems.”

Those taking part in the month-long event are also selling moustache-shaped keyrings to raise additional funds.

Movember started as a fund-raiser in Australia in 2004, going on to become a worldwide event. As well as raising money for charities, Movember also aims to promote the importance of early detection of men’s cancers.
