PEOPLE across the county have been celebrating Lincolnshire Day - and children at Little Gonerby Infant School are no different.
On Friday, Year 2 pupils marked the special day, which was actually on Saturday, by baking Lincolnshire plum bread for the whole school to try.
Meanwhile, the gardening club harvested lots of vegetables from the school’s garden.
Youngsters in other classes did their bit by coming to school as ‘Lincolnshire Yellowbellies’, all wearing something yellow.
Friday was a day for a double celebration, as the school also held its harvest festival at St Wulfram’s Church. The service was based around the colours of the Lincolnshire flag.
Pupils joined parents and families at St Wulfram’s Church, where the Lincolnshire plum bread and garden produce were handed over.
