Elderly woman freed by fire crews after Bingham crash

Fire crews cut free an elderly woman from a car after it was involved in a crash with another vehicle in Bingham this afternoon.

The collision happened in Tithby Road just after 2pm. Three other people were in the vehicles at the time. They did not have to be released.

Nottnghamshire Fire Service said the woman was taken to hospital suffering chest and back pain.

Fire crews from Bingham, Highfields and West Bridgford attended the scene.
