Emergency cable repairs at Springfield Road railway bridge in Grantham will take place overnight tomorrow (Friday, October 23).

Western Power Distribution will be carrying out the emergency works to repair a cable fault.

To minimise inconvenience to road users, the work has been scheduled to be carried out overnight, starting at 7.30pm and is expected to be completed by 7.30am on Saturday (October 24).

Traffic will still be able to use the road under the bridge. While works are underway, the permanent traffic signals will be replaced by temporary lights, which will be controlled when necessary by hand to reduce delays.
