Engineering works hold up Grantham rail commuters
Rail commuters in Grantham have been facing delays this morning after planned engineering works overran.
The 7.10 departure to Nottingham was 11 minutes late departing the town and is now expected to reach the city at 7.58am.
National Rail departure listings say the journey, which began from Boston, was held up by "earlier engineering works not being finished on time."
There are also minor delays to some services on the East Coast Main Line this morning, while the 7.57 East Midlands Trains departure to Liverpool Lime Street is currently running more than 20 minutes behind schedule, because of a fault.
