European Union elections East Midlands result: Annunziata Rees-Mogg, sister of top Tory Jacob, takes seat for the Brexit Party




The Brexit Party swept to victory in the East Midlands where Jacob Rees-Mogg's sister Annunziata took a seat for the Brexit Party.

The results of the region were coordinated in Kettering and announced at around 11.45pm.

Three of the seats went to the Brexit Party with Annunziata Rees-Mogg, Jonathan Bullock and Matthew Patten triumphing. Lib Dem Bill Newton-Dunn and Labour's Rory Palmer took the other two seats.

The results were as follows
