Staff at Ownsworth’s near Grantham are celebrating after winning a prestigious award.

The rapeseed oil produced by Ownsworth’s of Pottergate Lane, in Fulbeck, won the Grower of the Year title at the Select Lincolnshire Food, Drink and Hospitality awards.

The annual awards recognise the people and businesses behind Lincolnshire’s billion pound food and farming industry.

Andrew and Ronnie Ownsworth, of Ownsworth’s Rapeseed Oil, collected the award at a ceremony at Riseholme College in Lincoln.

Mr Ownsworth said: “We worked really hard throughout the year and we were delighted to receive this top award as a recognition of the quality of our product and services. This award re-enforces to our stockists and customers, our commitment to quality and full traceability of our rapeseed oil.”
