A village nursery used its Christmas fair to celebrate both the festive time of year and its recent ‘good’ grade by Ofsted.

There was plenty of festive cheer at Kings Farm Day Nursery, in Long Bennington, where children played games, ate cake and met Santa Claus.

The event raised £450 for the nursery, which was inspected by Ofsted in August. An inspector found it to be ‘good’ in all areas, complimenting staff on their relationships with children and parents. The inspector found the children were “confident and happy,” adding that the nursery was “safe, secure, clean, welcoming for children and their families”.

Nursery owner Elaine Potts said: “Many thanks to all the staff at Kings Farm.”
