A fire near the railway between Retford and Newark North Gate means that trains cannot run between these stations and is causing delays on trains on the East Coast mainline.

Where possible, trains will be diverted between Doncaster and Newark North Gate, extending journey times by up to 120 minutes.

Buses have been requested to run between Retford and Newark North Gate.

Disruption is expected to continue until at least 5pm.
