Fire crews cut casualty free from vehicle after collision on A1 at Stoke Rochford

Fire crews used cutting gear to release a trapped casualty following a collision between two vehicles on the A1 yesterday.

The crash happened at 6pm on the northbound carriageway at Stoke Rochford. Crews used hydraulic gear to release the person.

The carriageway was closed while crews dealt with the incident and traffic diverted.
