Fire crews from 6 stations attended fertilizer spillage in Gunby

Fire crews from six stations were called out yesterday to clean up a spillage of fertilizer.

The crews were called to Gunby at 7.15pm where there had been a spillage of fertilizer in Main Street from a tractor and bowser trailer unit.

Crews from Grantham, Corby Glen, Stamford, Sleaford, Leicestershire and Bingham attended the incident.

They used clay mats and absorbant ganules to soak up the spillage.
