Fire & Rescue crews help horse out of ditch and attend shed fires

Fire and Rescue crews from South Lincolnshire helped rescue a horse from a ditch last night (July 14-15).

The specialist animal rescue crews, from Grantham and Sleaford, were called to assist in the safe release of the animal which was trapped in a ditch in Sleaford.

Meanwhile, crews from Grantham and Corby Glen attended a fire in Harrowby Road, Grantham, involving two sheds, a moped, and conifers. The blaze was extinguished using two hose reel jets.
