Fire spreads to shop in Grantham street

Firefighters were called to deal with a fire in Swinegate, Grantham, in the early hours of this morning.

The Grantham crew used one hose reel and cutting gear to deal with some settees which had set alight. The fire spread to a nearby shop. The crew were called out at 3.51am.

No further details on the damage have so far been released.
