Firefighters tackle fire in Grantham home

A fire and rescue crew from Grantham were called to a house fire in George Street in the town last night (Saturday).

The crew attended the scene just after 10.30pm.

They used one hose reel and a dry powder extinguisher to put out the flames.

There was fire damage to a sofa and smoke damage to the lounge.

No one was injured.
