A 30-strong team of anglers raised £1,205 towards the ongoing care of a two-year-old girl suffering from leukaemia.

Thomas Porter from Tennyson Avenue, Grantham, organised the 48-hour long carping event with fellow members of Team Primal at Woodland Waters, Ancaster.

The event was to help friends Ben and Vicky Dellaway with the care of their daughter Alana.

The fund-raiser included a raffle of prizes donated by fishing tackle companies.
