People invited to ask questions at Healthy Conversation follow-up event
A follow-up to the Healthy Conversation engagement event in Grantham will take place on June 19.
People can book places at the NHS Healthy Conversation 2019 workshop and 'help shape local health services'.
Following the Healthy Conversation 2019 event, which took place in Grantham in March, Lincolnshire NHS is now inviting patients, local residents and staff to discuss some of their comments and feedback in more detail.
The Healthy Conversation 2019 workshop will take place at The Jubilee Life Centre, from 6pm to 8pm on Wednesday, June 19. Attendees, who are required to pre-book, will discuss the proposed urgent treatment centre and travel and transport with senior clinicians.
Dr Dave Baker, GP, Chair of South West Lincolnshire CCG, said: “We have had valuable feedback from residents in the Grantham area and would now like to offer an opportunity to discuss these two specific issues in more focus.
“This will enable us to understand patient and public views about the emerging options in greater depth, and work with attendees to consider all of the suggestions which have been made.”
There are limited spaces at the workshop and, if over-subscribed, places will be allocated by ballot and a waiting list will be used to fill any cancellations. In addition to the workshops, staff from Lincolnshire’s NHS will be out and about in the local area, talking to the public about Healthy Conversation 2019.
Anybody who wishes to attend should email their name and a contact number to firstname.lastname@example.org or phone 01522 307307 by 5pm on June 13, 2019. They will receive confirmation of a place by return email, or over the phone, by 5pm on June 14, 2019.
For people with questions, who are unable to attend, they can submit questions in writing, and they will be asked on their behalf. The answers will be posted on the website. Questions must be submitted by 5pm on June 17.
