Football and fun in Grantham will help raise money for Make a Wish Foundation




Prizes from Leicester City and a pair of boots from England rugby ace James Haskell can be won in a raffle to be held on Sunday (August 9) as part of a charity day.

The event will take place at Harrowby United FC and raise money for the Make a Wish Foundation.

The event starts at 1pm and will include a football match between AFC Harrowby and Stocken Prison Officers. Kick-off is 2pm.

The event will include bouncy castles and face painting. The bar will be open and there will be fish and chips and a cake stall.

James Aust has organised the event with Ben Broad and Steve Turner. A similar charity event last year raised £1,500 for Help for Heroes.The Make a Wish Foundation arranges experiences for children with life-threatening medical conditions.
