Have your say

A CHARITY football match last Sunday raised more than £180 for armed forces charity Help for Heroes.

The match, between Caythorpe FC and a team from Grantham’s Asda supermarket, took place at Belton Woods Hotel and attracted around 100 supporters.

Asda led the game 2-0 early on, but Caythorpe came back to win 4-2.

Andy Widdowson, who works at the Asda store, said: “Caythorpe’s determination and superior fitness won the day.

“Both sides had gone into the match with great enthusiasm and provided a superb match for the onlookers.

“It was a lovely sunny evening and everyone enjoyed the event thoroughly.”
