Former Grantham man sets up 'Talking Library' in America

A former Grantham man has set up an audio literacy project in America after being inspired by a voluntary service in Grantham.

William Lismore, 26, moved from Grantham to Evansville in Indiana, USA, in January 2019, after meeting his wife at American uni campus Harlaxton College in 2016.

He started volunteering at The Literacy Center, a non-profit dedicated to adult education, in March and became their executive director in November.
