Four fire crews tackle barn fire at Bottesford

Fire crews attended a large barn fire in Bottesford yesterday.

Four crews tackled the fire which was reported at 9.30pm in Normanton Lane.

The fire service told local people to keep windows and doors shut as thick smoke from the blaze drifted over their homes in a southerly direction.

The barn measures 30 metres by 10 metres. Firefighters were damping down this morning.

There are no reports of any injuries. An investigation into the cause of the fire is taking place today.
