A charity calendar’s front cover, and the ladies who have dared to bare all to raise money for two cancer charities, are being revealed at a launch event tomorrow.

The Bare to Care Charity Calendar 2015 is the second to be organised and photographed by Ruth Clements, having successfully raised £2,500 from the previous 2011 version.

This year’s calendar aims to fund-raise even more for MacMillan Cancer Support and Breakthrough Breast Cancer.

Ruth has been busy taking all the photographs in a range of inventive locations - as the haystack cover demonstrates - over the past three months.

After lots of work but not so much clothing, tomorrow night the calendar will be launched at a private event for all 80 of the women involved.

In addition all of the businesses who have sponsored months in the calendar will be at the launch.

Ruth said: “I would like to thank all of the ladies who bravely bared all for the calendar, and each of the businesses that sponsored the calendar. “Also Michael Davis Printers, Karen at Atrium Grantham, and Dominic Brister who will be providing entertainment on the launch evening.

“A massive thank you must go to my husband Russell Clements for believing in me and standing by me and our two sons while I have spent so many hours working on the calendar to hopefully make it a huge success.”

Following the launch the calendars will be available to buy from a range of businesses, and will cost £10 with 100% going to the two charities.

The businesses selling the calendars are Jenny Wren Lingerie, Genes Barbershop, Unveiled by Leanne, and The Crown and Anchor at Welby, while they are also looking to get it into the Grantham branch of ASDA.

In addition they intend to set up pop up stalls over the next few weeks, with details to follow.
