A cat rescue centre will be holding a fund-raising event in Grantham this month.

The next Grantham ROCK (Rescue of Cats and Kittens) fund-raising event will be in the Isaac Newton Centre on Good Friday, March 25, from 9.30am to 2pm.

There will be a large tombola with plenty of prizes, including Easter eggs.

Cath Rowson, who runs the cat rescue, will be available to answer questions about the work that she does. Donations of food will also be welcome on the day.

All the money raised on the day will go directly to help the cats. Funds help pay for cat food, vets bills, equipment including kitten pens and scratching posts, telephone bills and a contingency fund to cover medical emergencies.

You can also now donate online on the Grantham Rock website. Go to www.granthamrock.co.uk
