Garages broken into in Bottesford

Two garages in Bottesford have been targeted by thieves in the last week, prompting a warning from the Bottesford Parish Neighbourhood Watch.

At around 10pm on Saturday night, entry was forced to a garage in Beckingthorpe Drive.

Meanwhile, another garage was hit sometime between Tuesday and Saturday.

John Shilton, Bottesford Parish NHW co-ordinator, said: “If anyone saw anything suspicious in these areas or has information about these crimes please contact the police on the 101 non-emergency number.

“Please be aware of the increased risk at this time and take extra precautions to protect your property.”
