GCSE results: Priory Ruskin Academy, Grantham

The headteacher of the Priory Ruskin Academy has praised students and staff for achieveing a record-breaking year for the Grantham school.

More than 70 per cent of students achieved five GCSEs grade A*-C. All departments have achieved exceptional results with visual and performing arts achieving close to 100 per cent A*-C grades.

There has been a marked increase in the number of students achieving five GCSEs, including English and Maths, with English attaining outstanding levels of progress against the national average.

Headteacher Clive Shepherd said: “This is a superb set of results which is a reflection of the hard work, passion and commitment of all our staff and students. This in addition to the excellent A-level results has made this the Priory Ruskin Academy’s most successful year.”
