General Election 2019: Meet your new MPs after Conservatives sweep the board across the Grantham Journal area




The Conservatives have swept the board locally and nationally overnight.

Gareth Davies is the new Conservative MP for the Grantham and Stamford constituency, winning by a comfortable majority.

Elsewhere, Caroline Johnson retained her Sleaford and North Hykeham seat and Alicia Kearns took the Rutland and Melton seat, also for the Tories.
