Grantham A&E closure letter: Hospital protest meeting encouraging

It was very encouraging to see the turnout on Saturday to protest about the temporary restricted hours of the Grantham Hospital’s A&E department.

My thanks go those who organised the demo and those that attended.

I have, as some of you know, personal experience of Lincoln, Leicester and Grantham Hospitals, and I would put Grantham at the top for patient care, comfort and friendly efficient staff.

In light of the present situation we should re name our Health Service from the National Health Service, to the Regional Health Service,

that is not the NHS but the RHS.

And finally, I would like to know how many cuts the management are taking in their various benefits and expenses.

Cllr Mike Cook, SKDC, Dudley Road, Grantham
