Grantham area defendants face the music in magistrates' courts




Grantham area defendants brought before the courts recently include:

Jozsef Bence Laufer, 20, of Market Place, Grantham: admits driving a Kia Cee’d in Watergate on May 18 without insurance. He was fined £400, ordered to pay a £40 victim surcharge and £85 costs and his driving licence endorsed with six penalty points.

Stacey McDonald, 41, of Burrows Close, Grantham: admits entering Asda in Grantham on September 7 which she was prohibited from doing by a criminal behaviour order made in June; entering Morrisons on September 11; entering Sainsbury’s on September 11; having in her possession a quantity of class A drug crack cocaine in Grantham on September 16; having in her possession a quantity of class C drug Pregablin in Grantham on September 16; and attempting to steal a bottle of whiskey worth £39.99 from Sainsbury’s on September 11. She was committed to prison for four weeks concurrent as she “continues to offend and breach the criminal behaviour order” and told to pay a £122 victim surcharge.
